A stolen diamond necklace and bracelet belonging to Britain’s Duchess of York were recovered and an airport baggage handler was accused of the crime, U.S. officials said. The jewelry given to the duchess by her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, was taken from a suitcase bound for Britain. The FBI recovered the necklace from a doghouse behind the home of the baggage handler, Gilbert Terrero, 19, in the Queens borough of New York; the bracelet was found in an airport locker. The suspect was charged with theft from an international flight before being released on bail of $75,000.
