Trucker Pleads Guilty to Murdering 2 Women
A long-distance trucker suspected in a string of slayings in the South and the Midwest pleaded guilty Friday to murdering two women he met at truck stops.
Sean Patrick Goble, 29, of Asheboro, N.C., was sentenced to two consecutive life terms for the killings in Tennessee. He also faces charges of murdering a woman in North Carolina and is being investigated in connection with similar killings in seven more states.
The victims were known or suspected prostitutes who frequented truck stops. Their bodies were dumped along interstate highways.
