Christmas Angels

“Tis The Season.” This morning my wife, an elementary school music teacher with over 1,000 students, was running late when she was loading her car with her school bags.

She tore off to work, leaving her purse sitting on the front driveway of our home with her “Christmas shopping assets” in it.

The occupants of a late-model minivan drove by, saw the purse sitting on the driveway, stopped, picked up our “Christmas” purse and delivered it to our front door. I went downstairs to find the purse, with everything in it.

I ran out to thank them, but they were already down at the corner of our street.

I don’t have any idea who these “angels of mercy” were, but they have made this Christmas very special to us and our family already. Let it be known that if we can find out who these “angels” are, they have just made some very thankful and grateful good friends.
