City Seeks Applicants for Panel
Seats on several city commissions are vacant and will be filled early in 1996, including a two-year term as alternate planning commissioner.
Other open positions are:
* Three two-year seats and an alternate seat for a one-year term on the Traffic Improvement Commission, which reviews traffic issues;
* Three two-year seats and a one-year alternate seat on the Economic Development Commission, which advises the City Council on business issues;
* Seven one- and two-year seats on the Community Services Commission and a one-year alternate seat. The commission reports to the council on a variety of social issues, from recreation and cultural events to human services.
Candidates must be registered voters and residents of Dana Point. The deadline for filing applications at City Hall, 33282 Street of the Golden Lantern, is 5 p.m. Jan. 31.
