Woman Held on Cocaine Charge
A drug task force from the Ventura, Oxnard and Port Hueneme police departments raided an Oxnard home early Wednesday and arrested a woman for possession of cocaine-- and a man for pirating cable television programming, Oxnard police said.
The task force entered the Lindsay Place home of Linda and Don McFarland after a two-week drug-dealing investigation by Oxnard Det. Ken Tougas. Inside, police recovered about $500 worth of cocaine, $2,600 in drug-related cash and a cable box that illegally received programs without the owner paying for them, according to the Oxnard department.
Linda McFarland, 40, was being held Wednesday at Ventura County Jail. Don McFarland, 42, was booked and released.
