In other men’s games:

Golden West 79, Cypress 78--Lydell Hill converted a three-point play with four seconds remaining to complete Golden West’s rally from a 15-point, second-half deficit.

Rod Scheuerman had 23 points and 11 rebounds for the Rustlers (12-12, 2-2). Shane Miller set personal highs with 22 points and 15 rebounds for Cypress (9-12, 1-3).

Irvine Valley 88, Fullerton 70--Matt Moore made 11 of 14 shots and had a game-high 23 points for Irvine Valley (11-10, 2-2). Damon Smith scored 21 and Ty Berry had 20 for visiting Fullerton (7-13, 0-4).

Riverside 94, Rancho Santiago 84--Rancho Santiago led by as many as 14 in the first half, but the teams were tied at the break, 47-47. Forward Chris Rose had 24 points and 13 rebounds for Rancho Santiago (13-8, 1-3), which has lost three in a row. Gary Williams scored 34 points for Riverside (21-3, 4-0), which played without starters Seam White and Paul Culbertson, who were suspended for a game.

In women’s games:

Saddleback 75, Orange Coast 48--Cha-Ron Walker scored 19 and Shanna Renken added 14 before being ejected midway through the second half for Saddleback (17-0, 4-0), the second-ranked team in the state. The Gauchos took a 17-5 lead in the first seven minutes and were never challenged.

Saddleback has won its first four conference games by an average of 30 points. Jack Single, the Saddleback head coach, missed the game because of a family emergency so assistant Clark Wilkerson ran the team.

Golden West 88, Cypress 37--Blythe Lindsey made 10 of 13 shots and finished with 22 points for Golden West (13-9, 3-1). Leila Ryan had 20 for Golden West.
