Western Digital to Continue Shares Purchase

Western Digital Corp. said its board has authorized the company to repurchase an additional 5 million common shares on the open market at various times over the next 18 months.

Western Digital, which designs and manufactures high-powered disk drives, has bought 5.8 million of its shares for about $91 million since last February.
