Update : Follow-up on the news : City, Diamond Sports Reach Deal on Sign

A debate over a wall sign on the Diamond Sports building at 11130 Warland Drive has been resolved, city officials said.

For several weeks, city and Diamond Sports officials have negotiated over a proposed logo sign for the new building.

City Community Development Director Chris Kelly told the City Council recently that the originally proposed wall sign would have featured a painted background that would not have been suitable for the business park in which the building is situated.

“The applicant agreed to redesign the sign to be more compatible with other building signs within the Cypress Business Park,” Kelly told the council, which then approved the sign.
