Rancho Santiago 95, Orange Coast 93 (OT)--Tremain Ross scored on a layup with three seconds left to win it in overtime for Rancho Santiago (15-8, 3-3). Chris Rose (27 points) scored from short range with a second left in regulation to tie it, 85-85.

Matt Ambrose had 25 and Draper Mitchell 24 for Orange Coast (12-11, 3-3).

Saddleback 103, Golden West 69--Saddleback (18-3, 6-0) won its seventh consecutive game and set up a first-place showdown with Riverside. The teams play Wednesday at Riverside at 5:30 p.m.

Roderick Beavers scored 24 as six players were in double figures for Saddleback. Rod Scheuerman had 22 for Golden West (12-14, 2-4), which played with six players as a result of injuries and illness.

Riverside 99, Fullerton 79--Ty Berry scored 24 points and Eric Morgan scored 20 for Fullerton (7-15, 0-6). Paul Culbertson, returning from a two-game suspension, scored 20 points for Riverside (23-3, 6-0).

In Orange Empire Conference women’s games:

Fullerton 58, Riverside 49--Minette Gomez had 16 points and Nicole deBruijn 15 for host Fullerton (12-10, 4-2), which moved into a tie for second place with Riverside and Orange Coast.

Saddleback 89, Golden West 66--Shanna Renken, who had to sit out a game because of an ejection, returned to score 24 points for Saddleback (19-0, 6-0). Cha-ron Walker and LaShieka Henderson had 14 each for Saddleback, the state’s second-ranked team. The first-place Gauchos have a two-game lead.

Caroline Monahan and Leila Ryan had 18 each for Golden West (13-11, 3-3).

Irvine Valley 71, Cypress 52--Jennifer Nakanishi scored 23 and Heather Robinson 21 for visiting Irvine Valley (18-5, 3-3).

Gabriela Reyes, making her first start of the season, scored 18 for Cypress. She had scored 23 points all season coming in to the game.

Cypress (5-16, 0-6) played without starters Holly Pawlowski and Linda Rodriguez who were both ill.

Orange Coast 78, Rancho Santiago 52--Visiting Orange Coast (18-6, 4-2) scored the first 19 points of the second half to open a 57-23 lead. Monica Geraci had 17 and Jamie Shine 15 for OCC.

Cari Remmel scored 20 for Rancho Santiago (5-13, 0-6).
