Volunteers Offering Help With Tax Forms

Free help with income tax preparation will be offered on Saturdays from Feb. 3 through April 13 at the Brea Library.

The income tax assistance program uses trained community volunteers and is designed to help elderly, low-income and non-English-speaking residents with simple federal or state tax returns, officials said.

The program will be held in the Brea Library Community Room in the Civic & Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle. Those seeking assistance need to bring all pertinent forms and information, or a completed tax return to be reviewed for accuracy.
