Baylor Does the Twist on Anti-Dance Policy

Dancing is no longer dirty at Baylor.

For the first time in its 151-year history, the nation’s largest Baptist university will officially allow dancing beginning this spring.

“We have aerobic dancing in Baptist churches and dance routines at athletic events,” Baylor president Robert Sloan said. “Dancing can be, and is when properly done, a very wholesome activity.”
