Anheuser-Busch Forms 2 European Partnerships: The largest U.S. brewer said it will work with Brasseries Kronenbourg of France, France’s largest brewer and the second-largest in Europe; and with Gastrodrink, a company jointly owned by Kronenbourg and leading Swiss brewer Feldschlosschen Holding. St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch Cos. said the deals will provide increased support for sales of its Bud brand in France and Switzerland, which, like most European beer markets, are experiencing strong growth in their international and specialty beer segments. Bud was introduced in the French beer market in 1992 and in the Swiss beer market in 1986.
