Assisted Living on Buying Spree
ARV Assisted Living Inc., an operator of independent and assisted living facilities, released details Tuesday of five recent acquisitions and development transactions in Florida and Colorado. The deals are: the acquisition of a 248-unit facility for $10.5 million in Jacksonville; a contract to acquire a 120-unit facility in Venice for $10.3 million; a long-term operating lease to operate a 232-unit facility near Tampa; the purchase of 5.6 acres in Fort Myers for $1.1 million for development of about 145 units; and a $417,000 land acquisition in Lakewood, Colo., for a new 134-unit facility.
