Boos and hisses to Laurie Winer for giving away the surprise ending to “Blade to the Heat” (“Pulling No Punches,” March 29). Perhaps, because she gets in for free, she’s forgotten that lots of people pay to enjoy a good story. And surprise endings have not gone out of style, even in Hollywood. So repeat after me, Ms. Winer: “View . . . review, view . . . review.” That’s your job. All the pleasure in between belongs to the audience.
