27 Die as Truck Plunges Into Zimbabwean River

HARARE, Zimbabwe —
At least 27 people were killed and 35 badly hurt when a truck plunged into a river in eastern Zimbabwe on Friday, police officials said.
About 80 people were in the back of the truck, which was driven by a farmer who had recruited them to work on his farm in Chipinge district.
