Lawrence Goelman Joins Board of Irvine’s Pinnacle Micro Inc.
* Lawrence Goelman has joined the board of directors of Pinnacle Micro Inc., an Irvine optical storage company. Goelman is a managing partner at Tremont Partners, Inc., where he functions as a CEO consultant and manager of investment portfolios. Before that, he was chairman and chief executive of CostCare, Inc., a health-care cost management firm.
* John C. Anderson has been named executive vice president of production and operations at Victoria Mortgage Corp. in Irvine. He was formerly senior vice president and director of Western region production management with Bank America Mortgage. Anderson has also held senior management positions at Bear Stearns Mortgage Capital Corp., National Home Equity Corp., Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Corp. and Suburban Coastal Corp.
* James W. Burke has been appointed vice president of managed care for PM Group Life Insurance Co. in Fountain Valley, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Mutual. Burke joined Pacific Mutual in 1972 and was named assistant vice president in 1984.
* Craig A. Curtner has joined the Insco/Dico Group, an Irvine surety underwriter, as director of marketing. He was previously with American Sterling Corp. in Irvine.
* A. Elizabeth Inglese has been named director of Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Orange county office. She has been with the firm more than 12 years and specializes in high technology and closely held businesses. Lee Farris has joined Deloitte & Touche as manager in the multi-state tax services group. He was formerly with McGladrey & Pullen LLP. David Greenberg, a former partner with the Orange County office of KPMG Peat Marwick, joined Deloitte & Touche as a partner in the international tax services group. Also joining the firm is Thomas Seck, an attorney specializing in financial counseling services.
* Michael T. Kennedy has been appointed director and general manager of McDonnell Douglas’ new Delta III Launch Vehicle division in Huntington Beach. Kennedy has more than 25 years of experience as a space programs engineer and manager with McDonnell Douglas, most recently as director of its International Space Station pressurized elements integrated product development team.
* Carlos Reyes has been appointed vice president of development for Oakley Inc., an Irvine designer and manufacturer of sunglasses and goggles. Reyes joined Oakley in 1989.
* Penny Elia has been named senior account supervisor for Morgan Marketing & Public Relations in Irvine. She had previously been director of public relations and advertising for the Dana Point Resort, now Marriott’s Laguna Cliffs Resort in Dana Point.
* Les Miller has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Cleveland Golf in Cypress. Miller, a former golf professional, has been with the company 11 years. During the last months, Miller oversaw all sales, marketing and promotional activities associated with the introduction of Cleveland Golf’s VAS Titanium wood and VAS+ iron lines.
* Gregory Lee has been named to head the new Lake Forest satellite office of Imago Sales (USA) Inc., a New York-based book publishing services company. As director of West Coast operations, he will be responsible for Imago’s production capabilities from Vancouver to San Diego and throughout the western United States.
