Seniors : Achievements, activities : Colleges Offering Series of Free Classes

The Adult Continuing Education Division of the North Orange County Community College District is presenting a series of free classes for senior citizens in Fullerton, Brea and Anaheim.

A mental sharpness course is aimed at improving memory skills, preventing mental deterioration and increasing ability. It is at three locations in Fullerton:

* Acacia Villa, 1620 E. Chapman Ave., 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays.

* Morningside of Fullerton, 800 E. Bastanchury Road, 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays.

* Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave., 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

A fashion course teaches participants about colors, clothes, accessories, makeup and skin care. It meets at:

* Brea Senior Center, 500 S. Sievers, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

* West Anaheim Senior Center, 2271 Crescent, 9 to 11 a.m. Thursdays.

* Senior Citizens Center, Anaheim, 280 E. Lincoln, 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays.
