A free discussion with Romanian composer Grigore Nica and dress rehearsal of his song composition “Miniatures for Children’s Choir and Piano, opus 70” with the Moorpark-based Amadeus Boys Choir will be held May 18 at the Moorpark College music building.

A fund-raising concert for the Amadeus Boys Choir, featuring the premiere performance of the composition and other musical pieces, will be held May 19 at the college’s performing arts complex.

Tickets cost $15 and $25 for the May 19 concert. Concert-goers are also asked to bring food and paper goods to donate to MANNA Food Bank of the Conejo Valley, a nonprofit emergency food distribution center that will host a food drive in the theater lobby.
