Change-of-Command Ceremony Sunday

Armed forces aficionados can see a ceremony steeped in military tradition when the leadership of the 40th Infantry Division of the National Guard changes hands Sunday.

Brig. Gen. Edmund C. Zysk will succeed the retiring Maj. Gen. William Stewart in a formal ceremony punctuated by cannon salutes and featuring an inspection of the troops.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the headquarters of the Armed Forces Reserve Center at 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos. Information: (310) 795-2324.
