* Music: Interscope Records, whose recordings containing controversial rap lyrics set off a national uproar last year, has launched a joint venture with B-Rite, an Inglewood-based gospel music company. B-Rite, founded by South-Central Los Angeles entrepreneur Claude Lataillade, will feature productions and recordings by gospel music star Kirk Franklin, whose new “Whatcha Lookin’ 4?” album entered Billboard magazine’s pop chart at No. 24 this week.
