Amgen Recruiting to Fill New Positions

Amgen, a Thousand Oaks biotechnology company, will host a job fair May 22 at Oxnard Community Center to identify candidates for the projected 1,000 new positions it intends to fill in 1996.

Amgen interviewers will discuss the recruiting process and give presentations about the company at 5, 6 and 7 p.m.

The new positions are likely to be as administrative coordinators, lab assistants, quality control operators, manufacturing operators, cleaning technicians and maintenance mechanics.
