Gensia Lands Contract With Drug Purchaser

IRVINE — Gensia Laboratories has been awarded a contract by Premier Inc. to provide injectable drugs over a two-year period.
The agreement with Premier, which makes purchases of more than $10 billion annually for 1,700 hospitals and health systems nationwide, could generate $10 million in new product sales, according to Gensia Laboratories’ parent company, Gensia Inc. in San Diego.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
