AML Communications’ Revenue Surges 168%

AML Communications of Camarillo has announced a record 168% increase in revenues to just under $7 million for the year ended March 31, compared with revenues of $2.6 million for the previous year.

Net income for fiscal year 1996 advanced substantially to $1.19 million, or 35 cents per share, in comparison with the previous year’s loss of $22,000, or 1 cent per share.

For the three months ended March 31, revenues increased 238% to a record $2.6 million, compared with $772,000 for the same period in 1995. Net income rose to $458,000, or 11 cents per share, in comparison with net income of $3,000, or break-even, for the three months ended March 31, 1995.

AML Communications designs and manufactures multicarrier amplifiers, repeaters and related products for the cellular and communications markets.
