All Ages Invited to Roller Hockey

Registration is now open for the Anaheim Family YMCA’s first roller hockey leagues for youth, teens and adults. League play will begin June 22.

Practice sessions and games will be at an outdoor rink built last year on property provided rent-free by Anaheim Indoor Market Place. Materials and labor for the concrete rink at Anaheim Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue were donated by construction companies.

League divisions are for ages 4 to 13, 14 to 17, and 18 and older. The registration fee, $75 per player, includes a team jersey and awards. Some scholarships are available.

Each team will compete in 10 regular season games plus playoffs. Referees will be provided.
