Mitsubishi Formally Denies Allowing Sexual Harassment: Mitsubishi formally denied government claims that it allowed widespread sexual harassment of female workers, arguing that it punished harassers when people stepped forward to complain. Mitsubishi’s response asks a federal judge to dismiss the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s class-action lawsuit and reimburse the company for legal expenses. The company’s attorney said he believes Mitsubishi handled harassment complaints properly. The EEOC said it had not seen the response to its lawsuit and had no comment.
