MEXICO : 62 Fishermen Missing After Tropical Storm

Tropical Storm Cristina blew ashore in the southern state of Oaxaca, battering resorts and fishing ports on the Pacific Coast with 60 mph winds. There were no reports of deaths, but a navy spokesman in Chiapas state said a search was underway for 62 fishermen who had been expected back in port Tuesday night. A civil protection spokesman said fishermen often seek refuge from bad weather on remote stretches of shoreline and are not heard from for hours or even days.
