Judge Sentences Navy Officer in Sex Case
Associated Press
WASHINGTON —
A military judge on Wednesday sentenced a Navy officer convicted of adultery and conduct unbecoming an officer to forfeit $250 per month for six months and to receive a letter of reprimand.
The sentencing came a day after the judge cleared Lt. Cmdr. Donald W. Clause of rape and sexual harassment in the case, which involved a female subordinate at the Washington Navy Yard. She bore a child linked to Clause by DNA evidence.
