Thank you for graphically exposing the horror of Russia’s war crimes in Chechnya (July 2). Now if our favorite democrat in the Kremlin--the one who sent tanks to shell Parliament in 1993 and unleashed genocide on Chechnya a year later--has been saved, can the press begin once again to tell the unvarnished truth about events in Russia?
