SUDAN : Military Accused of Using Cluster Bombs

A Swiss-based Christian human rights group accused the Islamist-backed government of using internationally outlawed cluster bombs against the civilian population in war-ravaged southern regions. Christian Solidarity International told a news conference in Nairobi, Kenya, that recent bombings mostly in and around the southern town of Chukudum have displaced thousands of people. A Sudanese Embassy official denied that Sudan is using the bombs.
