You can use the site to find and purchase whatever Olympic tickets are left and scope out the many venues for sporting events. Follow the Olympic torch on the last days of its cross-country journey and order official Olympic merchandise online. Visitors can also get the lowdown on the Olympic Arts Festival, which begins today.

* Georgia Tech, home of the 1996 Olympic Village, highlights the technology that makes the Summer Games possible at https://www.gatech.edu/olympics/. For example, a computer program called Motion Interactive allows coaches to track an athlete’s movements.

* For a primer on the Olympic Games, visit the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles’ Web site at https://www.aafla.com

* NBC Sports, the official broadcaster of the Games, has a complete Web site at https://www.olympic.nbc.com. There are the standard news and sports updates, along with a viewer’s guide and in-depth profiles of Olympic athletes. There’s also a link to the MSNBC page.

* The Discovery Channel Online (https://www.discovery.com) has daily updates on the lives of athletes as they prepare for competition.

* The It’s Atlanta site (https://www.com-stock.com/dave/) has pictures that document the construction of Olympic venues and the opening of the Olympic Stadium. Visitors will find links to the home pages of Olympic athletes and addresses where fans can send mail to competitors. An entire section of the site is devoted to newsletters and clubs dealing with Olympic pins.
