Woman Awarded $2 Million in Harassment Suit: Mary Wilson, a former plant supervisor for Philip Morris USA, was awarded that amount after claiming she was forced to leave her job because of sexual harassment. After 11 hours of deliberations, a Circuit Court jury in Louisville, Ky., awarded Wilson, who had been seeking $13 million, compensatory damages for humiliation, embarrassment and mental anguish. Richmond, Va.-based Philip Morris said it is weighing its options. Wilson alleged she suffered through more than a year of sexual harassment by men she supervised in the Louisville plant. Two months ago, five women sued Philip Morris, alleging it tolerated a sexually charged atmosphere at the plant.
