OLYMPICS DAILY REPORT : Perec Will Not Try for Double
French sprinter Marie-Jose Perec said that--despite reports to the contrary earlier this week--she will not compete in the women’s 200 and 400 meters. Perec said she would stick to her plans to defend her gold medal in the 400 and run legs on the 400- and 1,600-meter relays.
