Pimco Advisors L.P.: The Newport Beach investment management organization recorded net income of $23.8 million, or 33 cents per Class A limited partner and general partner unit, 69% higher than the $14.1 million, or 26 cents a unit, posted a year ago. Revenue increased 31% to $98.8 million from $75.5 million. for the first six months of 1996, net income was $43.2 million, or 64 cents per unit, up 59% from the $27.2 million, or 52 cents a year ago, reported last year. Revenue advanced 30% to $190.1 million from $146.6 million.
