Claremont Student Wins Bronze Medal in Chemistry Olympiad

Far from the hubbub of the Atlanta Olympics, Claremont High School junior Jason Chen has won a bronze medal in the 28th International Chemistry Olympiad in Moscow. Teams from around the world were evaluated for their performance in laboratory and written chemistry exams. The four-member U.S. team got a gold medal, two silvers and a bronze. Russia got four golds, followed by Iran and China with three golds apiece.
