THE BALKANS : Yugoslavia, Bosnia to Restore Links
Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina agreed to restore telephone, railway, bus and air links between the two countries for the first time since the Bosnian civil war erupted more than four years ago, government officials said. Bosnian Vice President Ejup Ganic hailed the agreements signed in Belgrade, the Yugoslav and Serbian capital, by Bosnian and Yugoslav ministers as the beginning of a reconciliation process between the wartime foes. The accords came at the end of a two-day trade mission by Bosnian officials and business people.
