From Times Wire Reports

Police took over the headquarters of the opposition Indonesian Democratic Party after more than two hours of battles with activists holed up inside. More than 20 people were injured, and many others were stripped of their shirts and taken to police trucks, witnesses said. Supporters of ousted PDI leader Megawati Sukarnoputri had held a vigil for over a month at the single-story building in a busy Jakarta residential district to prevent a takeover by security forces or a government-backed rival faction.
