INDIA : Explosions Kill 2, Injure About 125

A grenade exploded inside a Muslim shrine in the Kashmir valley, and a bomb hidden in a wooden cart blew up in a marketplace, in violence targeting celebrations of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. Police said two people died and about 100 were injured in the grenade attack about 25 miles from the capital city of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir state. The device hidden in a cart injured about 25 people in Srinagar, witnesses said.
