Clinton Golf Game Cost a Lot of Green

Paul Peck paid a lot of green for a 7-hour tour around the greens with President Clinton. He bid $76,000 for the golf game at a fund-raiser for Sidwell Friends School, where 16-year-old Chelsea Clinton is a junior. Peck, of McLean, Va., has two daughters and a son, none of whom attended Sidwell. How did he afford the bid on a government salary? “I got a Wharton [School of Business] MBA back in the ‘60s. . . . They taught you how to make money. I made some very good investments.”
