Redshirt Quarterback Very Impressive

Redshirt freshman quarterback Quincy Woods has been impressive in early workouts, showing a stronger, faster throwing arm than he did last year.

His arm strength seemed insufficient in practice last year.

“Quincy worked all summer on his passing and his improvement is dramatic,” said offensive coordinator Mike Riley.

Woods, and co-redshirt freshman John Fox, are battling to be the No. 3 quarterback, behind starter Brad Otton and Matt Koffler.
