Graphix Zone Inc: The Irvine interactive music and entertainment company narrowed its losses for the fiscal year ended June 30 on higher sales. The company lost $11.1 million, or $1.05 a share, compared with a net loss of $20 million, or $1.88 a share, for the prior year. The results reflect the merger of StarPress Inc. and Graphix Zone on June 28. Sales rose 37% to $9.2 million from $6.7 million.

For the fourth quarter, the company posted a profit of $350,000, or 3 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $2.4 million, or 22 cents a share. Sales increased 44% to $3.7 million from $2.5 million.
