Turkish Minister Visits, Vows Support
From Times Wire Reports
With deadly confrontations building tensions on the divided island of Cyprus, Turkey’s foreign minister made a quick visit to pledge support for what she called Turkish Cypriots’ “just cause” against Greek Cypriots. Eleven people have been injured in clashes in a U.N.-policed buffer zone.
