Angels Offer Tips to Young Players
The California Angels are offering a free baseball clinic Saturday for youngsters 6 to 13 years old.
The clinic will feature personal instruction by Angel players and coaches in pitching, fielding and hitting. Among them will be third baseman George Arias, catcher Todd Greene and pitcher Mike Holtz.
The program will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center and Sports Complex. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Young players should bring their own baseball gloves. Information: (714) 937-7200.
