Workshops Offer Tips on Buying First Home

Free workshops providing information on purchasing a home will be offered to first-time home buyers Sept. 14 and Sept. 23 at the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center.

Local real estate agents, escrow agents and city officials will conduct the workshops.

They will explain what potential buyers can expect when purchasing a home and provide information on various funding programs available, including the city’s programs for those with low incomes, city officials said.

The Sept. 14 workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, and the Sept. 23 workshop will be from 6 to 9 p.m.
