The Big Lemon

Share

The idea of Caravella Limoncello Originale is simple: a sort of Triple Sec made with the peel and juice of lemons instead of oranges. Not a new idea, mind you, because it goes back to 1898, but pretty new to us. You could substitute Caravella for Triple Sec or Cointreau in any drink or dessert recipe for a lemony variation. It’s 64 proof and comes in a very cool frosted bottle that looks just a little like a big lemon Popsicle.

Available at liquor stores.
