Counseling Program Opens at New Center

Straight Talk Inc., a nonprofit counseling center, has opened an office in the city’s new community center.

The agency offers counseling services for anyone who lives, works or attends school in Brea. Payment is based on a sliding scale according to income. The center’s hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 9 p.m.

Straight Talk counselors offer help in couple and family relationships, personal growth and development, childhood and adolescent problems, depression and anxiety.

In addition, a support group for teen mothers and parenting education classes will be available beginning this fall.
