Gasoline Prices Fall: Prices have dropped nearly a penny a gallon in the last two weeks, but uncertainty in the Mideast could change that, an analyst said. The average per-gallon retail price, including all grades and taxes, was $1.2901 on Friday, down 0.81 cent a gallon, according to the Lundberg Survey of 10,000 stations nationwide. Most of that was the result of prices falling on the West Coast, which is playing catch-up to declines elsewhere, analyst Trilby Lundberg said. Greater supply has driven prices down, but Lundberg warned that crude oil prices have risen nearly a nickel a gallon in the last few days because of tensions in the Middle East.
