“La Notte Del Nebbiolo” spotlights the Piedmontese grape variety responsible for some of Italy’s finest wines, most famously Barbaresco and Barolo. Taste for yourself Tuesday at a special dinner at Spago featuring the wines of the legendary Piedmontese winemaker Bruno Giacosa, presented by his daughter Bruna. Wolfgang Puck’s four-course menu for the evening includes seared black bass with leek confit, truffle risotto with porcini broth, seared loin of venison with braised chestnuts and star anise, and harvest fruits with caramelized poached pear in Barolo essence. Among the wines are Giacosa’s Roero Arneis 1995, Nebbiolo d’Alba 1993, Barolo “Villero” Riserva 1990 and Barolo Riserva Speciale 1986. 7 p.m. $85 per person. Seating is limited.
