UCLA Extension Offers Special Effects Classes
UCLA Extension is offering three classes on computerized special effects taught by industry leaders.
Lewis Wakeland of Litton Guidance and Control Systems will teach “3-D Graphics Programming Techniques: Fundamentals,” and Dave Remba of Disney Animation will teach “3-D Graphics Programming Techniques: Modeling.” Both courses will meet on Saturdays at 9 a.m. beginning this Saturday. Tuition is $365 for each.
Alfred Samulon of Transaction Technology will teach “Multimedia Compression: Image, Video, Voice and Data,” which will meet on Mondays starting this Monday at 6:30 p.m. Tuition is $360.
