Data Processing’s Earnings, Revenue Rise

Data Processing Resources posted higher earnings and revenue for the fiscal year ended July 31.

The company, which provides staffing services in the technology field, reported that net income rose to $3.3 million, or 55 cents a share, from $2 million, or 41 cents a share, for the prior year. Revenue rose 17% to $58.1 million from $49.6 million.

For the fourth fiscal quarter, net income increased to $1.1 million, or 15 cents a share, from $533,000, or 11 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue was up 13% to $16.1 million from $14.3 million.

The company completed its initial public offering in March.
