Kevorkian Gets OK for Concealed Gun

Dr. Jack Kevorkian, fearing “right-wing nuts,” has obtained a permit to carry a concealed gun. An Oakland County, Mich., licensing board granted the emergency 30-day permit after Kevorkian passed a background check. He has assisted in at least 40 suicides since 1990 but has been cleared all three times he has been tried. Kevorkian sought the emergency permit last Friday, the same day an Ohio man was arrested with a gun outside the office of Kevorkian’s lawyer. Nearly three months ago, Kevorkian said he needed protection from “right-wing nuts.”
